"Be the change you want to see in this world". That's the quote that went through Christine Fullwood(Xtine reckless )'s mind when she set out to make her dreams a reality. "I grew up admiring feirce, alternative, sensual women,   even though most of my influences musically were men.

 I watched the animated T.V. series,' Jem and the holograms' as a child. then as i grew older i discovered 'the spice girls ' movie and the  live action 'josie and the pussycats ' movie. The idea that a total badass girl gang of super like female power was just mind blowing.

  the years came and went, yet no one had manifested a real life version of one of these super-like heroine's. i just couldn't handle it anymore. i reluctantly decided that it was a message from the universe. it was telling me that if i wanted it to be real so badly that i was going to just have to step up and make it happen, do it myself. so there it was,  Xtine and the reckless hearts was born.

  i knew it was going to be an insane amount of work and that only a few people would grasp my concept  or be brave enough to support it." 

Xtine came up with a concept then immediately went into writing mode and wrote as many songs as she could while also writing and developing a book to correlate with the band. It wasn't an overnight process, it took time and during that time there were ups and downs. "i went though so many challenges durning the beginning process. i felt like giving up many times but I'm too tenacious for my own good. living with regret of not taking a risk and chasing my dreams would just kill me. i felt like i have written my best songs and have grown as a musician in the  process. as the music progressed so did the concept and story."
